I am so excited to tell you about MonsterJam 2016 this was my first time actually going to see the Monster Trucks so needless to say I was really excited too. It started early we were lucky enough to have the party in the pits passes too so the kids were able to get the drivers signatures and meet them and take photos. Believe me the kids had a blast.
They also had a jump house for five dollars extra the kids could jump. We also got the kids snow cones in a special monster truck cop this cop was $15 plus the snow cone. They also had another cup with a monster face on it that lights up that one was $20. So we decided to get the kids the $15 one which has a big tire for a coaster at the bottom. It turned out to be a nice day because the weather before was pretty cold. And the kids had a blast at the party in the pits. It was really nice because they also stamp your hand when you left out of the gate so that way if you decided to come back you had a stamp on your hand so they would know you could enter again. We actually walked around and to Panera bread to eat lunch.
After that we headed to the stadium and hung out in our line for a few till they opened the gates. We had pretty good seats and saw a lot of everything. My son had the time of his life so did my little girl they were playing music and the kids were dancing it was a all around great time. Perfect to take the family too. This photo above with my son made the jumbotron it was pretty exciting. We were surprised to see him up there.
When it started it was pretty amazing this was actually my first Monster Jam and I have to tell you I really enjoyed it. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did but I loved it.
They were really excited to meet the drivers and get signatures. It turned out to be a beautiful day and lots of people came out to the party in the pits. Their were also food stations and other activities to do there.
We definitely want to make it out next year to see more. This is something I definitely see the kids enjoying every year. And Id love to make it a tradition.
These snow cones were perfect for this day. It wasn't to hot but when the sun is on you it can get a little warm.
My daughter was really excited to meet the drivers too and I didn't realize that she was wearing a girl power shirt so that was perfect seeing how their was only one girl driver Becky McDonough.
My husband even said he thought he went one other time a long time ago but wasn't sure. I know now that I went for the first time there is no question that I would remember this.
