I am so excited to tell you about Peeps once again for the Easter Season. I was able to review and test out quiet a bit of Peeps now some people either like them a lot or people don't like them at all. Well I can tell you in this house it's a mix up my husband and daughter don't care for them so much and my son and I love them.

We had some traditional Peeps and then we had some new ones to try. We came up with the basket filled with all these goodies. From Mike and Ike's too hot tamales. One of my favorites were the Easter egg peeps I made a little DIY with a few of these items. The Mike and Ike Jelly Beans and the Easter egg peeps.

So this is what we came up with for our Easter Basket the kid's wanted everything in it nothing on the side go big or go home!!!

This kid and peeps he loves them so much and he was excited to show what he was eating these are the peeps on a stick.

This is the DIY we did and I think it turned out so adorable. I was going to put flowers in it but thought the little monkey was super cute.

I am so excited to tell you about Peeps and Company and all the little treats they have for this Halloween season. We received a lot of goodies and tried a recipe to go along with it. As you can tell from the photos everyone in the family is a huge candy fan and we got red hot tamales, assorted mike n Ikes, peanut butter chocolate chews, and we can't forget the Peeps we got the graveyard peeps, pumpkin peeps, flavored peeps with chocolate on the bottom candy corn flavor, Caramel Apple, Pumpkin spice, and Chocolate cat peeps. And more assorted Mike N Ikes Halloween style.

Well we came up with the recipe for brownie in a cup made with the peanut chews. I totally recommend following the directions by the book don't add any more even if it looks like it's not mixed very well. Even though it looks that way it will be fine trust me make sure to use a mug that is safe to heat in the microwave. We are so excited for Halloween and Halloween candy and decorating and dressing up are you???

I will list the recipe below for the brownies and for the mug also another thing I want to mention is make sure you spray them with some sort of vegetable oil or cooking oil I didn't do this and it stuck to the mug really bad we had a hard time cleaning them so I just let them soak overnight.

My favorite candies out of the bunch I would have to say are the peanut chews yes they are a little on the chewy harder side but they taste amazing. My son is a fan of the peeps doesn't matter what flavor he really likes them he also likes the mike and Ike's as my daughter does also.

Make sure that everyone stays safe this Halloween season and make sure to check your candy also be safe but have a lot of fun enjoy the time with your family.

*Goldenberg Peanut Chews a few cut into pieces
*Peeps Marshmallow Pumpkin or Ghosts 3 marshmallows
*1/4 cup flour
*1/4 cup packed brown sugar
*2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
*"Pinch of Salt"
*2 Tbsp veg oil
*2 Tbsp milk, coffee, or water "we used milk"

*In a heatproof mug stir together the dry ingredients until no lumps
*Stir in the oil and milk until its a thick paste
*Cut into pieces the peanut chews and peeps stir up into the mixture
*Microwave on High for a min check it after 30 sec
Eat while it's hot

Me and the kid's loved the new Retro flavors back from Mike N' Ike they are so yummy my husband actually liked them too. Both of them are really good so I couldn't really tell you my favorite I love both flavors. But I can tell you my husband loved the root beer one he is not so much a sweet like cotton candy so he liked the root beer. And the kid's are just like me they loved both flavors. If you know me then you know that I am a huge coconut fan that plus chocolate you have made my day. Well Anastasia Confections makes just that and I was lucky enough to try their chocolates. And they were really good. So I am glad I was able to try and I ate the whole box not in just one siting but they were just so good.

Have you heard of Energems they are these great tasting chocolates that give you energy and taste pretty good too. And each one is only 15 calories yes only 15 thats right!! When I was a little girl I always looked forward to Halloween every year. I think it was more about the dressing up but it was also about the candy too. But, out of all the Holiday's Halloween is the one that you get the most candy and well we all know that is not good for our teeth. And being a formar dental assistant taking care of your teeth are important to me. This year I would love to hand out tiny bite size fruit flavor candies. Over the past 90 years the "Mile High" city of Denver, Colorado has seen a number of fine chocolate and candy manufacturers come and go but one company is very much in business. On his first day of High School a young man name Carl Hammond returned home and announced that he didn't need anymore education his parents said your going to get a job and that is just what he did as a apprentice in a candy factory.

After several years of learning the candy business Carl T. Hammond Sr. founded Hammond’s Candy Company in Denver. He was inspired to become an entrepreneur after creating his first original candy Honey Ko Kos chocolates topped with shredded coconut. In his first few years in business, Carl did it all: He developed the recipes, made the candy, sold the candy, and was his own office staff. Eventually he hired someone to manage the store while traveled the West, selling his candy to other stores.

In 2011 Hammonds is thrilled to have entered the gourmet food arena with the launch of their succulent desert dips and snack pretzels.
