Fit Mom's For Life Review/Giveaway

Friday, April 27, 2012

Dustin Maher a fitness professional living in Madison, WI. A 28 year old that absolutely loves his job as a personal trainer/fitness instructor/writer/motivational speaker/and teacher. I love helping everyone I come in contact with get in better shape. I especially enjoy helping moms look even better then before having kids.

The first question I get a lot is why a 28 year old single guy loves working with moms. The answer to that question goes back many years to when my mom raised 3 younger siblings and me, along with my dad. She was a stay at home mom and did so much for her 4 children. Looking back, I realized that she spent so much time taking care of her kids she didn't make time for herself. I also realized that she didn't have a good support group of other mothers who were motivated to get in shape and lose the baby fat. I was very blessed to have a mom that was health conscious and cooked very healthy. I learned a lot from her as she taught me what it was to eat well. I also realized that when I can make another mom change the food that she buys for her family and begins to exercise, her kids want to do what she is doing! So not only do I get to help the mother out, but I get to help out the kids and maybe the husband once in awhile out as well.

If you want to lose weight and feel better about yourself this will change your mind on getting back into better shape even after kids. I am going to try this and work on me for a chance.

Granola Gourmet Review

Thursday, April 26, 2012

Granola gourmet was founded by Jeff Cohen, a person with diabetes who was frustrated with the lack of good tasting snacks that wouldn't spike his blood sugar. He took to his kitchen to create a delicious variety of 100% natural low Glycemic energy bars. Granola Gourmet uses uses products that are low in Glycemic index. Foods with a low Glycemic index release Carbohydrates and glucose more slowly into the blood stream thereby keeping blood sugar more stable. Elevated blood glucose levels can cause hormonal and metabolic changes that may affect health. Granola Gourmet Energy Bars are clinically proven to be low glycemic. They have been tested on people with type 2 diabetes to determine their Glycemic Index value by scientists at GI Labs who developed the concept of the Glycemic Index.

These bars are so yummy you can't tell they are natural and good for you. These I would recommend to everyone but for the people that are diabetics the most these are at tasteful snack that will go a long way if you start to get the shakes just grab one of these for a boast of energy.
