Food and Wine Festival Busch Gardens Review + Overview

Disclaimer: I received tickets, food, and drinks to support my post. All opinions are my own.

First off I need to say how much fun this was the Food and Wine festival here at Busch Gardens is running still weekends throughout April 29th. This would be a great day for parents to have a date day with each other and just have a little fun. I tell you what I had an amazing time with my husband. So what is the food and wine and even beer festival well at the park they have an area set up with little booths that carry different types of wine and food. I was able to sample some foods I've never tried before they were pretty amazing.

This is available with your ticket admission to get into the food and wine festival however they sell badges to have the samples. They have three different sampler packages to choose from. The first one is a 5 item sampler "Retails for $29.99, the 8 sampler "Retails" for $39.99, and the 12 sampler "Retails for $54.99 and basically, you choose what you want to mix and match you can have all food, or wine, beer, or even soda and water was also a choice. But mix it up have some food and wine or whatever you would like. This was the best time I've had in awhile. It was just really nice for me and the hubby to get out.

We had the sampler badge that cost $39.99 with eight sampler's I was able to try three different types of food and five different types of wine on mine. My husband choose five different types of food and three different types of drinks he chose cokes and water. He's not much of a drinker so he did not have any sample tasting like me. So this food and wine festival is really for anyone if you are not a drinker you can choose Coke or water for your options which is really nice.

So the first item I was able to try was the Red Sangria and this was the red EPPA and this tasted pretty amazing it was a blend of sweet. The next booth we went to was called the Southern station they had different items such as Bison Slider on a mini roll with bacon with Sriracha Ketchup this was what my husband chose to sample and he really liked it. Then they had a venison meatloaf with mashed potatoes and fresh English peas and a BlackBerry glaze I really loved it this was the sample I chose. They are not stingy with their samples at all it was really good and this was the first time I've tried venison.

Some of the things we did while we were there we took a train ride, saw the ice show, and we rode the Skylift. Next, I tried the sparkling Moscato Rosè this was really good I definitely want to purchase this in the future it was very sweet and bubbly. At the next food I tried the cauliflower cake with Sriracha Aioli this was pretty amazing I actually want to find a recipe similar to this it was really good. My husband was able to try the pan seared steak with Chimichurri and Roasted Poblano Hash. My husband really loves this stake that came with the special sauce. The next thing my husband tried was the Antipasti roasted tomatoes, artisan meats cheeses and olives I tasted a bite of this and it was really amazing the flavor was really good.

And I tried their route third or Ranch winery in Sauvignon Blanc this was a white wine and it was really tasty I wasn't able to sit down and really talk to the people about the notes in each of these wines, however, I will look them up and note it in this post they were pretty busy.

Next, we both tried the seafood mac and cheese with shrimp, scallops, and cod in a creamy gruyere bechamel with white truffle. I have to tell you this was amazing mac and cheese and with the seafood in it made it just that much better. They also gave a generous amount of the sample and we really enjoyed it.

And last but not least my husband tried the new habanero-infused baklava with fresh pomegranate my husband really like spicy things and he really loved this it was a little spicy and sweet at the same time he really enjoyed this and I have to tell you I tried this myself and it tasted really good.

It had a little kick but I really loved the flavors of everything and if your one who likes these flavors then you will love this.

And of course, this amazing frozen sangria was to die for It tasted so good.

They also offer live concerts every weekend make sure to catch them. This is included with your admission but I would get there early to get a good seat. You can pay a little more to get preferred seating. We were here all day so we didn't catch the concert but they start at 7pm.
