Hair Shadz by Monimay, Inc Review

I knew as soon as I received this item I would put it to good use a sunscreen for your scalp. Who would of thought of that?? And I sure could use a lot of that living here in Florida having fair skin. The product is called Sun Shadz which has Spf 15 in it. It is from a company called Monimay, Inc. The shade I received is Clear in Shea M2. With this powder I have red hair so it being clear helped out a lot. You couldn't even tell I had it on my scalp which is good. I can't believe this is a sunscreen for your scalp I would of never thought to put it in my hair but then why wouldn't I of when we went to the beach I put it all in my son's hair and scalp so why wouldn't I do mine or my little girl. When we go this summer I definitely will be putting this in both of our hair. How you apply it has a brush it reminds me of a kabuki brush that you use for makeup.

Monica May Sanders is an expert hair colorist with over 15 years of experience and recipient of many professional accolades. She has been recognized in Vogue, Seventeen, and Cut & Style Magazine.  She was selected Best of Phoenix colorist by the New Times Magazine.

Over the years, two questions have been asked repeatedly by her clientele. "What can I do for my oily scalp to prolong my hair style?" She recommended using talcum powder to make the hair look cleaner and routinely used this trick herself with much success

But, with dark hair, the talcum powder dulled the color and health and safety of talcum powder was big concern ( as excessive exposure to Talc could cause lung cancer ) .

Over time she decided that it would be great to have a color enhancing powder that could be applied with an easy applicator brush. The second question asked repeatedly: "What can I do to cover my new hair roots in between colorings?"

She realized if she expanded the range of colors the product would also blend hair root as well as absorb the oil. The innovative Hair Shadz® and Sun Shadz® was created with help of cosmetic formulator Amour Cosmetic Mfg  (www.amourcosmetic.com) and human clinical testing and consumer marketing research AMA laboratory Inc. (www.amalabs.com). It is everyone's backup plan to shampooing , coloring and protecting their hair and scalp for those times they can't.

In 1999, Monica lost her Mother to malignant Melanoma. The original source of the Cancer started on her scalp. Monica researched the issue and discovered how common this disease is. Researchers have proven the scalp hair is not necessarily protecting ones scalp from harmful sun radiation . The sun damages unprotected scalps severely. Since people want to avoid putting greasy sun block in their hair, many people develop cancerous moles on their scalps from lack of proper sun protection.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
